To become a Checkmates member, you will be asked to provide the following items:
- Your current online dating profile photo (file extension formats: jpg; gif; png; bmp; tif; eps)
- A copy of your personal credit report (file extension formats: pdf; doc)
- A copy of your Australian Criminal history report (file extension formats: pdf; doc)
- A copy of documents confirming your single/marital status (file extension formats: pdf; doc)
Obtaining Your Documents
You can obtain your own documents/records from the following service providers:
Veda Advantage for your personal credit report;
Risk and Compliance Services for
your Australian local national criminal history record;
For single status information, your single status record can be obtained from
State Government bodies for each location:
Queensland - Department of Justice and Attorney-General, Queensland
New South Wales - NSW Registry of Births Deaths and Marriages
Victoria - Department of Justice Victoria
South Australia - Government of South Australia, Office of Consumer and Business Affairs
Western Australia - Department of the Attorney General, Government of Western Australia
Northern Territory - Department of Justice, Northern territory Government
Australian Capital Territory - Department of Justice and Community Safety, ACT
Tasmania - Department of Justice, Tasmania
If you are still married but seperated, and this information is on your dating profile, please provide
your Marriage Certificate. Marriage certificates can be obtained at the same web addresses as above for each State.
If you are divorced, please provide your divorce decree and/or dissolution of marriage documentation.
If you are widowed, please provide your single status documentation.
Checkmates Membership Fees
Checkmates membership registration processing fee is AU$65.00 (all fees include GST) at the time of joining which includes 1 month of free membership once your application
has been confirmed. If we are unable to validate your documentation and confirm your membership, the application processing fee is non-refundable.
